Flight Nurse - Registered Nurse RN

About the role

The role requires a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in flight nursing. The ideal candidate will provide critical care to patients during air ambulance missions.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care to critically ill or injured patients during air ambulance missions.
• Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in emergency or critical care settings.
• Experience with air ambulance operations and critical care transport.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Knowledge of aviation medicine and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
