This Flight Nurse position is based in Waynesboro, TN. Starting pay is $28.66 per hour plus a $5.00 hourly area stipend modification (DOE). You will work with a team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and respond to scene calls, upholding high safety standards for crew and patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment; perform regular equipment and base checks; comply with safety standards and briefings.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively and professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Share shift-change information with transitioning teams and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
  • Be on-time, reliable, professional, and meet elevated standards in safety and service.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
  • Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
  • EMT Certification and Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
  • Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior flight experience.
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.

Pay

Starting pay at $28.66 hourly + DOE with a $5.00 hourly area stipend modification.
