Location: Altus, OK – Immediate hiring for a Flight Nurse position.
Pay
Starting pay at $28.66 hourly plus a $8.33 hourly area stipend modification (DOE).
Responsibilities
- Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked aircraft environment; perform regular equipment and base checks and comply with safety standards and briefings.
- Communicate collaboratively and professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Share shift‑change information with the transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
- Commit to being on‑time, reliable, professional, and meeting elevated safety and service standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
- Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
- EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
- Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior flight experience.
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
