Flight Nurse

Immediate hiring opportunity for a Flight Nurse in Harrisburg, IL. Pay range: $28.66–$49.63 hourly, plus $5.00/hr GEO modification.

Join our team of air-transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities and respond to scene calls. You’ll work on a quality, professional team committed to high safety standards for crew and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical-care scenarios.
• Utilize critical-thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment; perform regular equipment and base checks; comply with safety standards and briefings.
• Collaborate and communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Share shift-change information with transitioning teams and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain all required certifications and complete ongoing training for the position.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to elevated safety and service standards.

Requirements

• Three years of experience as a licensed RN in an Emergency or Adult Critical-Care setting.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification and Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required prior to flight status (NRP provided during New-Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.

Pay

$28.66–$49.63 hourly, plus $5.00/hr GEO modification.
