Flight Instructor I
About the role
In addition to instructional duties, the Flight Instructor plays a key role in coordinating and scheduling training activities, supporting daily flight operations through dispatch functions, and operating faculty/staff transportation flights (FAST flights). This position also contributes to the advancement of the aviation program by assisting with recruitment and promotional efforts, developing new courses and training materials, and supporting basic preventive maintenance of the university’s aircraft fleet.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED OR an equivalent combination of education/job related experience. Hiring contingent upon a background check and driver's license check.
Qualifications
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor License
- Must have and maintain FAA Class II medical
- Valid driver's license

Targeted salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
Work Schedule: Varies Mon - Fri 0700 to 2230; At times nights and weekends. Travel: Not required.
