FLG -448 Full Stack Engineer (ReactJS) - Irving, TX (Locals Needed)
About the role
Floga Technologies is a growing IT services organization delivering scalable technology solutions and is expanding its team. We have an immediate opening for a Full Stack Engineer (Frontend with complete Backend experience) to support a long-term engagement with our client. The role is based in Irving, TX (onsite, within 100 miles) and requires 10+ years of professional software development experience. The candidate must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
- Build robust backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django) or Java (Spring Boot).
- Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using React.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Integrate applications with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
Requirements
Strong backend expertise in Python or Java; experience building modern frontend applications with React; passion for delivering high-quality software; experience with Elasticsearch (highly desirable); knowledge of LangChain, LLMs, and vector embeddings (strong bonus).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
- Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, authentication & authorization, and API security.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience building modern frontend applications using React.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
