Flexographic Press Operator

About the role

Inovar Packaging Group, LLC is a leading flexographic and digital printing company dedicated to employee and customer success. The Flexographic Press Operator works the night shift (4:30 pm–6:00 am, Monday‑Wednesday) to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain flexographic presses that produce extended‑content labels such as booklet, peel‑and‑reseal, and multi‑layer labels. The role ensures products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production schedules while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses producing extended content labels.
• Read and interpret job tickets, specifications, artwork, and production schedules.
• Install printing plates, inks, dies, and substrates according to job requirements.
• Maintain proper color registration, print quality, and die‑cut accuracy throughout production.
• Perform press adjustments to optimize print quality and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and correct print issues quickly to minimize downtime and material waste.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Meet daily production and efficiency goals.

Requirements

• Experience with extended content labels, booklet labels, or peel‑and‑reseal labels is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of flexographic printing processes, color management, and press mechanics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a commitment to efficiency and quality.
• Ability to lift, stand, and work physically as required for press operation.
• Team‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
