Flexo Press Operator

Description

The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a Mark Andy flexographic press to ensure high-quality production output. This role plays a critical part in manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of three years of experience as a press operator or operator trainee
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and percentages
• Proficiency with personal computer applications such as email, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including fax and copy machines
• Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
• Ability to manage and maintain filing systems
• Proficiency in using hand tools
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Physical ability to meet job demands including standing, lifting, and repetitive movement (reasonable accommodations may be provided)
