Flexible Schedule Preschool Assistant Teacher

About the Role

Jovie is hiring enthusiastic Preschool Assistants to support young learners in local preschool classrooms throughout Minnetonka. Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
• Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
• Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow

Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday–Friday availability, 10am to 6pm
• Part-Time: 2-3 days per week, afternoon until 6pm

Work with local preschools.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of childcare or customer service experience
• Love working with children of all ages (6 weeks to 6 years)
• Dependable and professional
• Strong communication skills with co-workers and children
• Can provide 3 references (at least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character)
• At least 18 years old

Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.

Pay

$22/hour
