Flex Teller- Rochester Region
About the role
A Teller at Canandaigua National Bank is more than just accepting deposits and cashing checks. They are the face of the bank, building and maintaining relationships within their community.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service by being friendly and courteous while answering customers' questions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to make qualified referrals as part of the Retail Referral program.
- Abide by current regulations, bank policies and procedures, and be trained to detect potential fraud.
- Support the East Side Region/ West Side Region as needed, traveling outside of home branch when required.
- Eligible for mileage reimbursement when traveling outside of home branch.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or high school equivalency.
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office).
- Strong customer service/sales experience.
- Cash handling skills.

Schedule
- When joining, scheduled 40 hours for the first 3 months.
- All applicants must complete the 90-day Teller training program.
- Able to make qualified customer referrals as part of the Retail Referral program.
- Part-time schedule begins after the completion of the first 90 days.
- Monday–Friday 9-5:00pm
- Saturday- 9-12:00pm
- Two Saturdays are required per month.

Compensation
The compensation range is $20/hr. The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.
