Flex Security Specialist

About the role

On-site security officers are the foundation of Securitas. They are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments and help safeguard people, property, and information.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• 2+ years of professional experience in customer service and security required.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Schedule

Available Schedules (Days of the week vary / Eligible to work 40+hours per week):
Day: 6am-2:45pm
Swing: 2pm-10:45pm
Grave: 10pm-6:45pm
