About the role

The Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site, acting as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security services on a designated shift
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager, and security officers
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to staff
• Prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deal professionally with all levels of personnel and the public
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Frequent preparation of written reports and logs
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions
• Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws (may be required prior to employment)
• For driving positions: valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), minimum insurance as required by Company policy
• Successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test (may be required to pass a Drivers Record check)
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Good guest relation skills
• 1+ years of security experience
• Supervisory experience

Pay

$18.54 / hour

Flexible pay options: Daily Pay or Weekly Pay available.
