Flex Security Officer

About the role

Securitas is looking for Flex Security Officer(s) to provide coverage at multiple client sites throughout South Jersey, including surrounding Atlantic City, NJ and towns such as Blackwood, Maple Shade, Camden, Atlantic City, and Moorestown. Shift and days will vary, and candidates must have a flexible schedule.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client's premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports
• Mobile patrol

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of security experience required
• Must be willing and able to travel and drive long distances to support various client locations
• Experience handling a wide range of security situations and incidents in diverse environments
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments and site requirements
• Must be available to work primarily 1st and 3rd shifts
• Open availability for weekends and holidays is required
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver's license, and open availability is required for this position
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Previous security experience highly preferred

Pay

$18.00 to $20.00 an hour
