Flex Security Officer

About the role

Securitas is seeking Flex Security Officers to cover multiple client sites across South Jersey, including Blackwood, Maple Shade, Camden, Atlantic City, Moorestown, and surrounding areas. Positions require a flexible schedule and availability for weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances and patrol inside and outside client premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports
• Mobile patrol

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of security experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Open availability for weekends and holidays
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Previous security experience highly preferred
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
• Must be available to work primarily 1st and 3rd shifts

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Standard computer / technology skills
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally
• Able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Able to maintain great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift

Pay

$18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Primarily 1st and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
