About the role

Securitas is seeking Flex Security Officers to join their team. Hourly rate is $18.00 to $20.00, with shifts and days varying. A flexible schedule is required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports
• Mobile patrol

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of security experience required
• Willing and able to travel and drive long distances to support various client locations
• Experience handling a wide range of security situations and incidents in diverse environments
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments and site requirements
• Open availability for weekends and holidays is required
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Able to have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Previous security experience highly preferred
• Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one, valid driver's license, and open availability is required for this position

Location

Multiple locations throughout South Jersey- surrounding Atlantic City, NJ. Some locations would be in and around these towns: Blackwood, NJ Maple Shade, NJ Camden, NJ Atlantic City, NJ Moorestown, NJ

What Your Day May Look Like
