Flex Security Officer

About the role

Securitas is seeking Flex Security Officers to cover multiple client sites in South Jersey, surrounding Atlantic City, NJ. Locations include Blackwood, Maple Shade, Camden, Atlantic City, and Moorestown.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity
• Provide detailed written witness reports
• Mobile patrol

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of security experience required
• Willing and able to travel and drive long distances
• Experience handling a wide range of security situations and incidents
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments and site requirements
• Open availability for weekends and holidays
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Standard computer / technology skills needed
• Able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Able to conduct patrols throughout shift
• Able to have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Previous security experience highly preferred

Pay

$18.00 to $20.00 an hour

Schedule

Shifts and days will vary, with flexibility to work 1st and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays.
