Flex Response Security Officer
GardaWorld is hiring Flex Response Security Officers in New Jersey. Active NJ SORA license and active driver’s license required.
About the role
As a Flex Response Security Officer, you will cover open posts (from terminations, post abandonments, or emergencies) when called, often with only a few hours’ to a few days’ notice. You will observe and survey assigned locations, provide detailed reporting on activity, and deliver rapid response in critical situations. Excellent customer service is your top priority, and you will enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Cover shifts at short notice (hours to days) for open posts due to terminations, abandonments, or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Observe, survey, and report activity at assigned locations
- Respond rapidly in critical situations
- Write and read detailed reports
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
- Active NJ SORA license
- Active driver’s license
- Must be available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts during the week
Schedule
32–40 hours per week, with flexibility to cover shifts on short notice across multiple sites in New Jersey: Swedesboro, Paulsboro, Carney’s Point, Marlton, Pennsauken, and Berlin.
Pay
$24.00 per hour.
