About the role

The Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed
• Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift, such as Vision phone usage
• Monitor and patrol the assigned property to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Check identification and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and other security systems
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and suspicious activity
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and security logs
• Enforce company security policies, procedures, and regulations
• Conduct regular inspections of doors, gates, equipment, and security areas
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company information and property
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Above average computer / technology skills needed
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Must have a professional demeanor
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to complete long distance foot patrols, which can be split up (includes stairs) and setting for long periods of time

Pay & Schedule

• Wage: $17.00/HR
• Graveyard Shift: 32 Hours Per Week
• Mon - Thurs: 2000 - 0800
• Variable full-time shift schedule with availability as needed
