This position demands a highly adaptable professional who can operate effectively in dynamic environments while safeguarding client schedules, minimizing disruptions, and maintaining strict confidentiality. The role delivers a seamless, high‑quality protection experience through strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and a client‑centric approach.

Requirements

Special qualifications

  • Relevant experience in armed protective operations

General qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of law enforcement, military, and/or relevant armed security experience
  • Current guarding, firearm, and concealed handgun licenses, permits, and/or credentials for the area(s) of operation
  • First aid, CPR, and AED certification (required)
  • Pepper spray certification
  • Successful completion of all required initial and ongoing EPS Executive Protection Services training programs
  • Meeting or exceeding EPS Executive Protection physical fitness standards and handgun qualification(s)
  • CA BSIS Guard Card, Exposed Firearm, and CA CCW

Preferred qualifications

  • Corporate executive protection experience
  • Formal training in handgun use, medical response, driving, defensive tactics/use of force, and executive protection
  • Surveillance detection training

Pay

$45 per hour (guaranteed 12‑hour shift)
