Flex Childcare Staff

About the role

Vineyard Cincinnati Church is passionate about loving the people of Cincinnati into a relationship with Jesus by doing small things with great love. This role supports the church by providing a safe and healthy environment for children from birth to 6th grade during weekends and events throughout the week.

The ideal candidate must possess an insatiable passion for teaching and caring for children, along with a Holy Spirit-led desire to assist or lead a classroom. This person should have a flexible schedule to work primarily mornings, weekends, and occasionally daytime hours, and exhibit spiritual gifts of teaching, shepherding, encouragement, and/or helps.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a classroom for a particular group of children, including check-in/out, supervising children, and leading activities as required.
• Assist with setup and clean-up within the room.
• Attend volunteer meetings and trainings as required.
• Lead, encourage, and direct all children placed in care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clear background check.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Daycare or children's ministry experience.
