Flex Agent - Residential Security Agent
About the role
This is an armed or unarmed Flex RST Agent position supporting Residential Security assignments. Occasional driving is required. Candidates must be comfortable in fast-paced environments, in social settings with high-profile public figures, and able to jump into action to support teams with little to no training. Prior RST experience on an embedded team supporting a single client is required for this role. While prior military or law enforcement experience is relevant and preferred, it does not replace the need for private sector RST experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.
- Maintain a knowledge of baseline principal, property and neighborhood activities.
- Monitor property and area activities and conditions via closed-circuit television camera system and physical perimeter checks.
- Monitor traditional and social media for potential threats.
- Control access to properties and maintain security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.
- Drive or transport principals, family members, guests.
- Screen and track mail and deliveries.
- Maintain weather and natural disaster awareness, public safety incident tracking, and neighborhood watch program involvement.
- Coordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasks.
- Complete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principals.
- Ensure 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeep.
- Operate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable laws.
- Cookice with the Global Operations team to confirm availability and interest in open shifts.
- Support the executive protection element of the team.

Requirements
- 2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positions.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- First Aid/CPR/AED for Adult, Child & Infant certification.
- Current California BSIS Guard Card.
- Current California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsement (needed for some accounts, but not all accounts).
- Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
- Prolonged periods sitting of 5+ hours at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
- Prolonged periods of standing on your feet without a break.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Ability to lift, drag a human up to 200lbs or more, if necessary.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, crawl.
- Ability to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuations.

Preferred Skills And Experience

- Training in defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, covert protection and basic medical support experience.
- Prior training course(s) in residential security or executive protection.
- Prior attendance of a recognized EP school (i.e., ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT).
- Advanced emergency medical certification – Active First Responder, EMT or paramedic.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working with children.
- Regularly active in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports, etc.
- Valid California or H.R.218 carry concealed weapons permit.
Benefits
Salary: $600.13/day (based on hourly rate of $36.37. We will pay any corresponding overtime in accordance with hours worked and state law).
