The pay range for this position is $48,000 - $60,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

About the role
As the Fleet Tire Sales Specialist (Salary + Commission), you are responsible for selling new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services by managing current customer accounts and developing new accounts. You must produce sufficient sales volume to achieve assigned sales objectives. Represent the company professionally through team image and service readiness. Through training, you will develop knowledge of the company's products and services and educate others. You will also monitor and report on market intelligence which impacts business and pricing within the market.
Responsibilities
- Actively seek and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers, requiring frequent local travel to customer sites to establish and build relationships
- Sell company-supported products and services
- Meet sales goals set by management
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers
- Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations utilizing a value selling approach
- Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge
- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, which may include light and heavy lifting (commercial tires and wheels), standing, bending, sitting, and squatting
- Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation
- Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department
- Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits
- Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and handle customer casings appropriately
- Deliver tires to customers as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of successful sales and/or business-to-business experience
- Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Associate Degree in a related field (preferred)
- Previous business-to-business sales experience (preferred)
