Fleet Technician/Mechanic

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel & Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join their team in Surfside Beach, SC. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel and automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Skills

• Hands-on experience with diesel and automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license

Pay & Schedule

• Pay $36.00 - $46.00/hour (based on experience)
• Pay Frequency Weekly pay - every Friday
• Schedule Tuesday - Friday 200pm - 1030pm | Saturday 8am - 430pm
