About the role
Under the direction of the Fleet Supervisor and Manager, this position offers administrative support to the Fleet department.
Responsibilities
- Maintains current equipment files as specified and required
- Purges expired documents from equipment files as replacement documents are received
- Enters and tracks equipment information throughout the disposal process
- Enters, updates and audits Asset Manager Database
- Reconciles Fleet unit location reports
- Assigns and maintains Drive Cam unit inventory
- Administers the company's Fuel Card program
- Creates and ensures completeness of Fuel Use reports before distributing to applicable internal managers for monitoring as well as executive management as they request
- Maintains GPS system to ensure appropriate equipment tracking and locating
- Communicates equipment movement to Management teams
- Affords assistance to company drivers with attaining required vehicle permits
- Performs miscellaneous data entry
- Travels as needed (1-2 times per month, May-October)
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a DOT regulated industry (trucking or construction) preferred
- In depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry, insurance, or risk management
- Travel Up to 2 times per moth (May-October)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure and distance using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Knowledge of and experience with Internet software and Microsoft Office including Excel spreadsheets, Word, as well as data base software and pdf manipulation software (such as Adobe Acrobat)
- Experience with Google applications is preferred
- Proficient in use of 10-key pad and keyboarding
- Ability to manage multiple databases and both electronic and paper files containing sensitive and confidential information

Pay
The wage range for Fleet Services Specialist is $22.50 - $25.00.
Schedule
Travel as needed (1-2 times per month, May-October)
