Responsibilities

• Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning—including body and chassis—for cars, vans, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers
• Execute basic vehicle maintenance tasks: oil changes, tire rotations, and vacuuming to ensure fleet safety
• Assist Fleet Mechanics with equipment maintenance and prepare company assets for employee check-out
• Maintain a safe work area by organizing parts, sweeping floors, and performing general custodial functions
• Adhere to all shop safety protocols and collaborate with the team to ensure all facility needs are met

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude; 1+ years of related automotive or fleet experience is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull 50–75+ lbs and manipulate large vehicle components
• Continuous standing, walking, bending, and crawling in and around commercial vehicles for 8–10 hours per day
• Work performed in a repair shop or outdoor garage with exposure to weather, grease, and loud noises; PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses) is mandatory
