About the role
Heavy-duty truck and equipment mechanic responsible for maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of company-owned vehicles, including oilfield trucks, tractor trailers, tanker trucks, and vac trucks.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair operational issues on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles
- Complete work orders and order parts
- Plan repairs and ensure safety compliance
- Utilize tools and maintain a clean work area
- Assist in training new employees
- Stay updated with technical advancements
- Ensure safety and maintain accurate records
- Work independently and understand technical manuals
- Adhere to safety and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum three years of heavy-duty truck mechanic experience
- Proficiency with diagnostic software is a plus
- Computer literacy
- Ability to follow instructions and operate vehicles and tools
Physical demands
- Lifting up to 100 pounds
- Various physical activities requiring alertness and dexterity
