Responsibilities
- Diagnose both common and uncommon automotive and small engine malfunctions
- Perform repairs and upkeep on vehicles and equipment, including preventative maintenance
- Execute vehicle inspections with keen attention to detail
- Respond to automotive emergencies swiftly and steadily
- Uphold and comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
- Document all work performed with in-depth precision
- Communicate professionally and conscientiously in all team interactions
Requirements
- A thorough understanding of automotive systems with proficiency in diagnosing and resolving most issues autonomously
- Eagerness to learn and apply new automotive techniques and technologies
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, understanding, and speaking
- Ability to perform all necessary physical aspects of the job, including, but not limited to, lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and carrying at least 60 pounds; standing, kneeling, and crawling for extending periods of time; and working in a variety of environments including exposure to heat, cold, dust, and small/tight spaces
