Fleet Manager

Responsibilities

• Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of fleet, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, and disposal across multiple states.
• Compliance: Ensure all fleet operations comply with federal, state and local regulations, including safety, environmental, and licensing requirements.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the fleet budget, monitor expenses and discuss/implement cost saving initiatives.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for vehicle purchases, maintenance services and fuel management.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and operational costs to senior management.

Requirements

• Experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on multi-state operations.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to vehicle operation and safety.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
