Fleet Maintenance Manager (Full-Time)

About the role

This role oversees equipment maintenance and repair for trucks, trailers, liftgates, yard trucks, and refrigeration units, ensuring safe and efficient fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage repair schedules and coordinate repairs
• Handle vehicle breakdowns and accident recoveries
• Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and EPA standards
• Lead and develop a team of mechanics
• Conduct safety audits
• Ensure proper documentation and inventory control
• Support distribution center operations as needed

Requirements

• At least five years of fleet maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with maintenance software
• Knowledge of safety standards
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Perform physically demanding tasks
