Fleet Compliance Manager

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Fleet Compliance Manager to lead our US Operations and oversee all fleet regulatory compliance activities across our transportation operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including DOT, FMCSA, driver qualification requirements, vehicle maintenance compliance, licensing, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet compliance and regulatory oversight for US operations.
• Manage driver qualification and credential requirements.
• Lead fleet safety and risk management initiatives.
• Ensure vehicle compliance and maintenance programs are followed.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with Fleet Operations, Safety, Human Resources, and field leadership teams to establish best practices and mitigate risk.
• Promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, Safety Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or 10 years of work experience in a similar Fleet Compliance Manager role.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, CDL, driver qualification, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations.
• Experience with IFTA compliance.
• Proven experience managing audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with fleet management systems, compliance software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting multi-state fleet operations.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Construction, industrial services, or commercial fleet experience preferred.
