Fleet Automotive Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, including light to mid-sized trucks and vans.
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle in the fleet.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilize personal tools and equipment to complete work effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and fleet supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Conduct road tests to ensure proper operation and safety of vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work On-Call Duty as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, preferably with fleet vehicles.
  • Current A-Series ASE certifications required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must supply own tools and toolbox.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
