Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles, including light to mid-sized trucks and vans.
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle in the fleet.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize personal tools and equipment to complete work effectively and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other technicians and fleet supervisors to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct road tests to ensure proper operation and safety of vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work On-Call Duty as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, preferably with fleet vehicles.
- Current A-Series ASE certifications required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must supply own tools and toolbox.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
