Responsibilities
- Completes PM "A" services
- Changes tires and batteries
- Chases parts
- Makes ready motor pool vehicles
- Shuttles vehicles for outsourced repairs
- Supports fueling services and washing services programs
Requirements
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Show good communication and logical reasoning skills
- Have a CDL drivers license or be able to obtain within one year of hire date
- Have a basic set of hand tools
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Six months work experience
- Some formal training

- Possess mechanical aptitude, good communication, and logical reasoning skills
- Must be able to lift or move up to 100 lbs. And maneuver up to 1 mile
- Must be able to crawl, climb, operate medium equipment and work with large and small objects
- Must possess good communications skills and functionally normal hearing
- Works both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to cold, heat, changing weather, adverse smells and sights, loud sounds and long periods of standing
- This position is “non-exempt” and is eligible for overtime pay
