Fleet Associate

About the role

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained, and transported to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You’ll travel by foot, bike, public transit, or Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are ‘member-ready’—this might include changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or coordinating a tow or repair.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front line of the team—member satisfaction depends on you
• Represent the Zipcar brand across the city
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as cleaning, refueling, tire changes, and coordinating repairs or tows

Requirements

• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and tasks
• Excellent communication with the operations team to provide vehicle status updates
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and conditions
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards)
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.)
