About the role
The Fleet Asset Administrator assists drivers with inquiries and provides a positive customer experience. This role administers the end-to-end lifecycle of the division's light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles, governed by internal and external policy compliance.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate resolving calls from drivers related to company-owned car registrations, tolls, tickets, insurance, vehicle recalls, etc.
- Maintain data integrity according to policy, including database maintenance (assignments, vehicle location, etc.), maintaining and auditing company-owned vehicle assignments, assisting with annual budgeting guidance for vehicle replacements, updating systems (i.e., Oracle, WEX, Wheels), managing division vehicle custodians, and verifying the accuracy of vehicles by tax jurisdiction.
- Provide projections to the Fleet Manager for the consolidated order process. Manage new vehicle receipts & deliveries, tags, titles, fuel cards, and insurance cards. Ensure dealer receipt, driver receipt, VMS setup, and the asset in-service process.
- Ensure compliance with the title management policy developed by the Fleet Manager. Maintain the data supporting accurate and timely property tax bill processing. Issue fuel cards, manage driver fuel card agreements, make updates to fuel cards (change cost codes, over-limit extensions), terminate fuel cards (lost/stolen, fraud events, driver terminations), manage control reporting, and research fraud.
- Manage insurance data for Risk, distribute insurance cards annually, and manage emerging (detailed) requirements of annual data requests for underwriter negotiations. Follow the policy as developed by the Fleet Manager for vehicle disposition. Monitor and transition idle assets for disposal via standard processes, facilitate employee sales, and title distribution.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
