Flatbed truck driver OT available

About the role

We are hiring a reliable Truck Driver to haul fabricated steel parts and finished goods throughout local port areas, plants, and laydown yards. This position offers a steady local route with home‑daily schedules, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays), and competitive pay of $29.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport fabricated steel parts and finished goods
• Secure loads using straps on flatbed trailers
• Complete local deliveries to plants and laydown yards
• Perform drop‑and‑hook deliveries
• Handle routes that may exceed 20 stops per day
• Operate a standard sit‑down forklift when unloading freight as needed
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Flatbed and load securement experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong safety record and customer service skills
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays
• 12 months of tractor‑trailer experience required
