Key Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed and stepdeck trailers on regional routes
- Load, secure, and unload heavy and oversized equipment and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo
- Maintain communication with dispatch and project teams
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and hours operated
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license with good driving record
- Experience operating flatbed and stepdeck trailers
- Knowledge of proper load securement techniques for oversize and heavy loads
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel regionally and stay overnight as needed
