Flat Rate Technician

About the role

Honda of Turnersville, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an experienced Flat Rate Technician to join their team. The position offers an expected annual salary range of $75,000 - $90,000, with up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards
• Deliver an excellent customer experience
• Ensure customers have a world-class service experience at every step of their ownership journey, especially during vehicle repairs
• Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards
• Communicate clearly and effectively with Service Advisors regarding technical information about customer vehicles
• Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, ensuring accurate estimates and work orders
• Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting shop operations, including handling and disposing of hazardous waste, adhering to OSHA guidelines, and using personal protective equipment

Requirements

• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• 3+ years of dealership experience
• Brand knowledge is preferred, but not required
