Flat Rate Technician

About the role

Audi San Jose, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an experienced Flat Rate Technician to join their team. This position offers competitive pay starting at $43.50 per hour, with an expected annual salary range of $83K-$150K based on productivity and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards
• Deliver an excellent customer experience
• Provide an unparalleled level of technical knowledge and expertise to help repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards
• Clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding customer vehicles to Service Advisors
• Ensure compliance with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, and accuracy of estimates and work orders
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting shop operations, including handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment

• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
• 3+ years of dealership experience

Pay

Pay for this position is based on production. Starts at flat rate at $43.50 per hour.
