Flat Rate Body Technician
About the role
Honda of Mentor, a Penske Automotive Group affiliate, is seeking an experienced Body Technician to join their team and provide outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance work in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards
- Deliver an excellent customer experience
- Ensure customers have a world-class service experience at every step of their ownership journey, particularly during vehicle repairs
- Provide unparalleled technical knowledge and expertise to repair and maintain vehicles to the highest factory and dealership standards
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to a non-technical audience as required
- Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, ensuring accurate estimates and work orders
- Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations, including handling and disposing of hazardous waste, adhering to OSHA guidelines, and using personal protective equipment
Requirements
- Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
- Positive "team-player" attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
- 2-5 years of collision repair experience, and ASE certification preferred

Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus available for experienced Technicians*

Qualifications

Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
2-5 years of collision repair experience, and ASE certification preferred
