Flat Pack Lead PR06- 2nd shift Tyson of Rogers

Schedule: Monday - Friday with possible weekends. Pay: $18.60/hour + $2.00 shift differential.

About the role

This position assists the Supervisor in coordinating the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring instructions are communicated to team members and carried out correctly. You will monitor equipment to ensure proper operation, notify the supervisor of needed maintenance, and maintain a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training team members on the production line, requiring physical use of hands, arms, fingers, legs, and back muscles.
• Stand and walk for long periods to monitor equipment during production.
• Set up the production line and inspect all operating equipment to ensure good working condition.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the production area and ensure materials are available on the floor.
• Track daily attendance rosters and assist with training new hires or team members requiring retraining.
• Assist with wash down to ensure all areas are sanitized.
• Serve as a liaison between the Supervisor and team members to ensure directions are understood and carried out.
• Communicate quality issues to the Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor (excluding disciplining employees).

Requirements

• 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months.
• Maximum of two previous employments with Tyson Foods to be considered for rehire.
• This position is open to current team members at this facility; transfers from other Tyson facilities require local HR approval.
