Flagger - Laborer Part Time

Location: Port Hadlock, Jefferson County Public Works Department

Responsibilities

• Traffic control for road maintenance projects
• Cleaning culverts
• Cleaning drainage ditches
• Patching roads
• Litter pickup

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to perform each job duty satisfactorily
• Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate

Certifications

• Washington State Traffic Control Flagger certification (desirable; training may be provided)
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record

Hours & Compensation

• Part‑time clerk‑hire position, up to 69 hours per month
• Pay rate: $24.00 per hour

Benefits

• One hour of paid sick leave earned for every 40 hours worked
• No additional benefits offered
