Brief Description Flag Football Coach Position Summary The Flag Football Coach provides leadership and instruction for the school’s flag football team. The coach is responsible for building student-athletes’ skills, teamwork, and character while ensuring safety and inclusivity. Key Responsibilities Develop practice plans that emphasize skill-building, teamwork, and game strategy. Supervise games, scrimmages, and tournaments. Teach and model sportsmanship, leadership, and respect. Monitor and enforce player safety, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to rules. Communicate with students, families, and school leadership about schedules, progress, and expectations. Maintain attendance records and manage team logistics. Qualifications Coaching or playing experience in football (flag or tackle) preferred. Strong ability to motivate, organize, and lead students. Commitment to student growth both on and off the field. Compensation This position receives a stipend in alignment with NMA’s coach and advisory stipend schedule.
