Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs and monitors aircraft and aircraft systems such as structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, engines, power, and electrical/ electronic systems and components as assigned to work centers.
• Uses hand tools, power tools, machines and ancillary equipment required to perform assigned task.
• Read and interpret service and manufacturer maintenance manuals, instructions, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of maintaining and repairing malfunctioning aircraft.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair is required.
• Two (2) to Four (4) years recent experience in the repair of aircraft avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems of the AT-6, C-12, C-26, F-18, F-35, NU-1B, T-6B, T-38C, U-6A or AV-8B aircraft. Four (4) years preferred.
