About the role
Join West Pharmaceuticals in Jersey Shore, PA as a Production Operator! In this hands-on role, you will work as part of a collaborative manufacturing team producing high-quality components used in life-saving healthcare products. You will rotate through multiple production functions, learn new skills, and contribute to a safe, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule
This position works a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM.
Pay
$20.65/hour with a $1/hour shift differential for the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate molding and trimming equipment.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Process, package, and prepare products for shipment.
- Maintain accurate production documentation.
- Support a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No minimum experience required; at least one year of manufacturing experience is preferred.
Skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of a keyboard and mouse.

Travel Requirements
Up to 5% travel, or approximately 13 business days per year.
Physical Requirements
Medium-exerting role requiring up to 50 lbs/22 kg of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs/9 kg frequently, and up to 10 lbs/4 kg constantly to move objects.
