Fixed Income Trader
About the role
Execute fixed income trades for SMA and brokerage accounts on an agency basis within an open architecture model across multiple fixed income products. In-depth knowledge of multiple fixed income products is required, along with familiarity with third party execution platforms. Leverage all trading relationships and electronic trading platforms to perform your best under obligation. Proactively stay updated on market developments and trading opportunities. Handle operational issues and liaise with various operations groups to resolve them. Work closely with fixed income sales to increase client activity. Be trained to execute in the foreign exchange.

Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in the fixed income market.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg skills.
- A strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and strategies.
- A sense of responsibility and interpersonal skills.
- A series 7 and 63, 65 or 66 license.

Benefits
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role: United States - New York - New York min USD 137500 - max USD 160000 /annum. The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. As part of Unified Global Markets, you’ll be working in the Execution Hub Group at our office in New York 5 days a week.
