Fixed Income Analytics Associate
About the role
Dodge & Cox is seeking to hire a Fixed Income Analytics Associate. As a member of the Fixed Income Portfolio Analytics Team (“FIPAT”), the Fixed Income Analytics Associate will partner with our client and investment teams to deliver portfolio strategy insights and ensure we meet existing and prospective client/consultant needs thoughtfully, accurately, and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be expected to become knowledgeable about each of the firm’s fixed income investment strategies and vehicles, as well as data and systems, with unqualified expertise in the firm’s external reporting and communications materials, policies, and practices. The candidate will occasionally be expected to manage tight deadlines, a high workload, and extended hours around the quarter-end reporting period in particular.
Responsibilities
- Investment strategy reporting / insights: Analyze portfolio and market data to craft insights for use in external client materials (including market, investment strategy, and performance attribution commentary)
- Assist on custom investment-related client/consultant requests and projects, coordinating with investment team members as appropriate
- Serve as a Fixed Income team liaison to the RFP/reporting team on complex
