About the role
This role will require a dayshift schedule but may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. Compensation in this role will be commensurate with experience. The schedule in this role will be Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Work hours are subject to change based on business need.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all mill safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures
- Help assist or operate machinery to expected performance levels
- Assist crew members and work team environment
- Help meet or exceed production and quality goals
- Demonstrate leadership or potential leadership skills
- Work with the site MI Coordinator and contractors to implement and follow-up on proactive inspection programs that identify possible failures before they occur

- Perform hands-on inspection of storage tanks, pressure vessels, pressure piping, and relief devices in the mill
