Fitter / Welder - Day Shift

About the role

The Supply Chain Division – Manufacturing is seeking a Fitter/Welder to join our team on a day shift basis. This position offers opportunities for career growth within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various types of equipment and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
• Assist in the setup and operation of welding machines and other fabrication tools.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in welding or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
• Experience with oxy-acetylene welding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Welding certification (AWS, SAW, etc.)
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
