Fitter/ Welder

About the role

We are seeking a Fitter/Welder for a full-time, permanent position at our local metal fabrication facility.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate according to prints
• Pass a weld test
• MIG welding on various types of material
• Set up machine based on each task
• Use of cutting tools and other related equipment
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane
• Read and interpret drawings
• Use of power tools and other equipment

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in metal fabrication
• MIG welding on various types of material
• Setup machine based on each task
• Use of cutting tools and other related equipment
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane
• Read and interpret drawings
• Use of power tools and other equipment
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Willingness to work overtime if needed

Pay

$25 - $28 per hour based on experience and a weld test.

Shift: 3rd shift
