About the role

We are hiring immediately for hardworking individuals with welding and fitting experience. Enjoy steady 50-hour weeks with pay every Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tape measure and apply mathematical understanding
• Clean up material by grinding or chipping
• Spot paints for identification marks
• Operate hand tools and machinery
• Perform welding and fitting tasks
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Work in a team environment and independently
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure efficient, safe loading and unloading operations
• Ensure safe, timely loading and unloading processes
• Enter time and job data using a computer
• Reach, bend, and lean to access materials being welded and fitted
• Lift 25 lbs routinely; request assistance or use lifting equipment for materials over 50 lbs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with trucks under three tons (e.g., tractors and fork-trucks), mobile crane equipment, and overhead cranes
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Welding certificate
• 2 years of MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for 10-hour shifts
• Ability to see, hear, and interact verbally with co-workers
• Ability to use a computer screen for data entry
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen; ongoing drug testing may occur for reasonable suspicion, random selection, or post-accident/incident

Work Environment

• Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and varying seasonal temperatures
• Machinery with energy sources including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or chemical

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, handle, grasp, or feel
• Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift, push, and pull materials; navigate stairs and ladders

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts (day or 2nd shift)
• Monday to Friday
